Attract the person who feels magnetic to you

Online dating sucked until I discovered the secret code — the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. I realized attraction isn’t about promoting yourself. It’s about drawing in the one who feels magnetic to you.

My type’s intensity wasn’t an obstacle — it was an advantage.

And you have the same advantage.

Because every one of the 16 Myers-Briggs types has its own magnetism, making it a useful key to unlocking online dating.

To see what I mean, start with the chapter about Tammy and the passion we shared — or the chapter about Corinne and our whirlwind romance.

Each relationship taught me lessons I couldn’t have learned any other way.

This is the first time I’ve written them down, with practical steps — such as How to spot your Magnetic Match — that you can use to find your person faster–especially if you take these steps to beat the odds.

Start by identifying your own Myers-Briggs type, then your Magnetic Match’s type. That’s the paradigm shift: instead of making your profile about you, make it about the person you’re seeking — so they’re drawn to you like a magnet.

There are plenty of fish in the sea, but to catch the one you want, you need the right bait — while still being true to yourself because authenticity is essential.

Over three decades of scrolling and swiping, I dated women across the MBTI spectrum — INFJs, INTJs, INFPs, ENFPs, ESTJs, ESFPs and more.

Yep, there are plenty of fish in the sea. So jump in. Because the water’s fine :)

But I’m not a medical professional. I have no clinical training. Everything here is merely my opinion based on first-hand experience. In other words, your mileage may vary ;)

But everything here really happened. All names and a few details have been changed, and some characters are composites, but the underlying truths abide.

My name is Alan Jacobson. I'm a web developer, UI designer and AI systems architect.

I have 13 patent applications pending before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. They are designed to prevent the kinds of tragedies you can read about here.

I want to license my AI systems architecture to the major LLM platforms—ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Llama, Co‑Pilot, Apple Intelligence—at companies like Apple, Microsoft, Google, Amazon and Facebook.

Collectively, those companies are worth $15.3 trillion. That’s trillion, with a “T” — twice the annual budget of the government of the United States. What I’m talking about is a rounding error to them.

With those funds, I intend to stand up 1,414 local news operations across the United States to restore public safety and trust.

AI will be the most powerful force the world has ever seen.

A free, robust press is the only force that can hold it accountable.
